On 26th June 2006, Intel is set to hold a press release to announce the Xeon 5100 processor(Woodcrest) globaly.

On the same day, Intel Taiwan held the seminar on Grand Formosa Regent Taipei and invited many partners, like Acer, Asus, GB, HP, IBM, IWill, Microsoft, MSI, Netnifty, Novell, and Tyan.

Intel Xeon 5100 processor(Woodcrest) the first version of a new generation of CPU's built on the firm's "Core" micro architecture.
